What students can expect
Our scholarships for students of Black heritage are part of a £10 million investment over the next 5 years to increase inclusivity at Imperial. So you can expect our networks, mentoring, content and events to cement your learning and give you the excellent support that Imperial is known for.
Mentoring
See it, be it. We understand that you can only be what you can see. With our mentoring programme and access to our Alumni, you will receive impartial, useful advice and guidance, from individuals and groups from your communities. Covering everything from balancing your finances to managing your workload.

We have a wide range of support networks, mentoring programmes, student societies, wellbeing support and online content for students of Black heritage across Imperial. Our aim is to support your academic journey at whatever stage you begin it. Providing you with an extensive and well-rounded student experience as we continue to strive to make our student communities more inclusive.
Black & Found podcast
Black & Found is Imperial’s podcast dedicated to hearing the voices and experiences of Black/Black mixed heritage founders. Discover more on the entrepreneurial journeys of individuals at different stages within the Imperial Enterprise ecosystem and beyond.

Imperial BE
As part of Imperial’s Enterprise Lab, Imperial BE supports Black entrepreneurship, Black enterprise and Black excellence through panel events, workshops and masterclasses.

Imperial As One is a network for staff and postgraduate students and an advisory group made up of Black and mixed Black heritage members. The IAO group helps set priorities and advises the College on how to support and promote an inclusive workplace and culture of respect, opportunity, unity, transparency and equality.
