DAAD Scholarships

Available for postgraduate students from Germany

In partnership with the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) we are offering five scholarships to German students admitted to a one-year full-time Master’s taught or research degree for the 2025-26/2026-27 and 2027-28 academic years.

What the scholarship covers:

DAAD will provide:

A tuition stipend of €18,000

A €1,150 per month cost of living stipend

A single €375 travel allowance for travel to/from the UK

Health, accident, and personal liability insurance benefits

Plus possible additional costs of bringing families to the UK, to provide support for disability or chronic illness, or to support special projects

Imperial will provide:

20% of tuition fees

My top tip for identifying and choosing scholarships is to talk to alumni at your institution and reach out to your chosen faculty at Imperial who are always willing to help!
