Why study Electrical and Electronic Engineering at Imperial?

Learn from world-leading academics

Our modules reflect work in our research centres such as the Electric Power Innovation for a Carbon-free Society Centre, which leads the UK’s effort to create 100% renewable energy power grids.

Combine theory with practice

We’ll give you a rigorous knowledge of the foundations, along with plenty of hands-on experience. You’ll work in high-spec labs and take on challenges like designing an innovative AI device.

Train for tomorrow

Choose from over 40 modules to specialise in a field of electronics that has huge relevance in industry today – like communications and signal processing, applied machine learning or future power network.

Find the right course for you

Our postgraduate courses cover a wide range of subjects and disciplines. Choose the one that best matches your interests and goals.

The course itself really suited me and my career aspirations. I want to work in renewable energy – and the Future Power Networks course dives right into renewable energy and how we can transition the power grid to those renewable sources.
